A couple of months ago, Michael Dell sold 1/4 Billion dollars worth of DELL, and he has just filed to sell another 4 million shares. A lot of insiders are dumping DELL right now. Do you really think DELL can be a long term stock? If you do, can you explain why?

The overall market is dumping shares of quality companies in all shapes and forms, CSCO & DELL included. Does that mean that there are no good stocks available just because huge owners (MM's) are dumping? I think not. DELL can be a long term stock, but I refrain from stating my thoughts here because this isn't the DELL thread. I suggest you take a look at the DELL thread. There are many people there who can give you better explanations than I can.

Khan,

Very long term, DELL's prospects are less certain than the other 3. amd I have said this all along.

Within the next 2-3 years, I think Michael Dell can continue his song and dance.
