Well,

I think there is more danger to try to time a drop than to be positioned for a rebound.

I am trying to time a drop now on these 2 puts I have, and there is more risk than to looking at the stocks and thinking I want in for the upside potential. Most stocks have been beaten up already and for the most part the downside is likely less than the potential upside when the market does rebound.

But for the swashbucklers like me, I like the potential there for downside too.

I dont think we are to the bottom yet, maybe not all that far but there will be more.

What I am thinking is to look at companies that are prone to miss earnings, I think there are plenty there and I have subscribed to the skeletons being let out of the closet here and now theory. If a company is going to miss, they are going to clean their fibs of the past and these are the ones that will be punished.

I am not big on the indexes, the prices are so high that it takes a giant move to get profitable.

I would stick close to Don S, Jerry Favors info and others that are wise on here such as Chris, Judy, dennis etc.

I think this and Jennas thread are the best for pure stock info whereas other threads are much more watered down and have one or two people that talk alot but deliver little.

Stay here, this is where it is at...

later.
