Hey William, you always like to say "well microsoft had these kind of P/E's back when it was in its infancy" etc, as a reason to justify the LEGALLY INSANE prices of Yahoo and Amazon stock. Here's a short history lesson:

Microsoft (MSFT)

1998 1997 1996 1995 1994 1993 1992 1991 1990 1989

P/E Ratio - High 72 57 50 47 35 31 39 45 35 29
- Low 37 31 23 25 21 22 27 20 18 15

And Yahoo is hovering around 800:1 right now. Still convinced there is no downside risk?

Folks, if you never listen to anything else I say on this board, remember this: The manipulation of the internet stocks is coming to a head very soon, and when they collapse there is going to be bloodshed like you've never seen in the market before. The people behind the price maniuplation will go down in history with the brothers that almost cornered the worlds silver market. Vinik will be infamous, along with his co-conspirators. (btw, are those silver guys in jail?)
