Hi Daniel Schuh; The latest word on how Tripp got hooked up to Starr is through lawyers on the Paula Jones staff. So it does look like didn't expect to be in front of the IC. She expected to be in front of the Jones civil suit, instead. Two completely different courts. Thus those two lines of her testimony are understandable. But why all the examination of only two lines? Can't you dig something significant out of those 4000 pages of newly released testimony? Surely the smoking gun that shows Clinton to have acted with only the highest moral behavior is out there somewhere... I find it hard to believe that Clinton's little problem with sex is being pinned on the Republicans. The latest news is that the Secret Service suspected 6 women as being mistresses of the President. The miracle is that they aren't all out writing books or selling secrets to the Serbians and Chinese already... Your guy has a little problem. He can't keep it zipped. The funny thing is that this is evident to most of the American public. And that public, with its well known propensity to prejudice, is now beginning to associate the word "Democrat" with liar and sex addict. Anybody who thinks this is going to be good for the Democrats in the next few elections is in dreamland. Ford has announced that the President should be shamed, rather than impeached. I agree. But he is not yet really ashamed. If he were, he would resign. On the other hand, I think that the really damning revelations will come out later, and will force a resignation. -- Carl
