Thanks, Eric the artist, you will be remembered as the one who shorted at $143 1/14 and had an early Christmas. If Amzn "does it again", short another 150 shares for a second Christmas!? However, I do not see Amzn goes to $143 with the current trading variables again, at all. I think Amzn will make a couple of $50/$60 swings in the next 2/3 months due to the dynanmic/struggle between the Float/short interests/sellers. However, the trend is our friend.

The supply side:

10 million IPO shares
3 million shares of insiders sale from Jul/98 to Sept/98.
3 million registered(Junglee $Pl.) shares on 10/1/98, to be sold
3 million shares (estimated by me only) to be sold after q-earning report, the selling window will begin approx. on Nov 1, 98.
total real float, before year end 98, should be close to 20 million shares.

the total real float, on 6/1/98, was only 10 million shares
The short interests stands at 7.3 million as of 9/15/98.
The short interests was 8.7 million on 6/1/98, before the squeeze>

Therefore, I will continue to trade my "small box" with care and flexibility; write puts/calls to against the box shares at price extremes. For a while, box-trading Amzn may be the best parking place for cash. JMHO.
