Company Share Buyback -

Looks like that stock buyback program announced earlier is really kickin in. Company must think more to the downside before this issue is undervalued. We will see $1 before we see $3.

Skeeter,
I would bet that of that 11 billion taken out, at least 2/3 will be back. If that money returns early next year just before tax time, combined with regular 401K contributions, watch out. We could be in for one big bounce back. Small caps would get the brunt of it, if the large caps are already plump. Baby boomers rule this market IMO.

Richard

Money is going out of the market for good reason -- we've got a President facing possible impeachment, Japan is falling off the cliff (financially) and they don't seem to know what to do about it, Russia is broke, Brazil is in big trouble . . . etc., etc. They're all looking for the US to come to the rescue, but we're too busy dealing with Bill and Monica. There's an essay on the last page of the new Time magazine titled "Rwandan Tragedy, Lewinsky Farce". Read it for a "wake-up". Meanwhile, the market is bouncing like a yo-yo, and it's no wonder. I don't look for any big improvement anytime soon, but that's just my opinion.
