I apologize for the previous post which apparantly just reiterated on already exhausted discussion... I just responded to a post from Bo before reading the subsequent messages that revealed that the cat had been let out of the bag about JPR...I apologize...

One more thing that I forgot to mention however... If there is one thing about JPR that would have me a little worried, it would be that they allow their traders to short stocks that aren't even on the short list put out by Southwest Securities. Their system will even allow a trader to short an IPO, even though your not allowed to short it for the first 30 days.

I know a lot of traders who have moved over their not just for their cheap commissions but also for this reason as well... But if Southwest Securities decides to one day audit a couple accounts, bust a couple of trades, and close a few accounts, I think JPR might be in big trouble... If one trader has a trade busted, and southwest refuses to pay him his profit on a trade, I think he could cause some serious problems with for JPR with the NASD.
