Hi John, reading some of the information at the "urbansurvival" site lead me to read the prospectus of my mutual funds. :-)

Found the following:
"The fund may not achieve its investment objectives due to market conditions and other factors."

I can live with that no problem but the next one worries me. :-)

In addition, the fund may experience difficulty liquidating certain portfolio securities during
significant market declines or periods of heavy redemption.
"

Now, urbansurvival referred to "redemption in kind" provision so common among funds.

I was unable to find this reference in my funds statements and am not sure what is meant by "redemption in kind" unless it means we will send you the paper rather than the $s. :-)

Can you enlighten me as to the meaning of "redemption in kind"?

Thanks
Monty
