Agree on your analysis as far as the G7 news etc which I posted a revision on my website last night with that and a few other indications that showed we could go down. However I am still confused by the advancing volume beating declining volume almost 2-1 Friday even though A/D on issues was almost flat. Do you think there were that many shorts covering?

I will go back and check October 97 and see if I can get a candle chart for 1987 to see if I can find some hammer candles that didn't hold up. I have the index charts here for 87 but that drop basically fell and then stayed down.

PS-Be careful with the compliments that started your post to me. Being in the military, when we hear something like that, it usually means we just "volunteered" for something we didn't want to do. <g> I was almost afraid to read further. LOL
