--->Would not this support simply going with the RDRAM standard- the architecture is laid out and it might take LESS resources to implement RDRAM than trying to develop and push a competing standard? Maybe, if they can be qualled by Intel, IBM, etc and fit all other criteria that will be part of the RAMBUS structure. It also would take away funds, people and other resources from their core right now. In this market and with TI & Rendition, I am not sure, they can afford to do that.
