I wouldn't write-off the pure Java PSE Pro. The standard pricing for a user license is (I recollect) $95. And when the company states that, they always point out that volume discounts are available. Whether it's Windows CE or Sun's pure Java model, it looks like hundreds of millions (if not billions) of Java-based devices will sell in the next few years.

Now 100 million devices at $10 apiece ... that makes $1 billion in revenue doesn't it? Sure this is just a guess, but it's not a wild fantasy. ODIS does have the best solution for Java persistence, and Java is really taking off.
