GZ, I used meta stock to create a template of you 25 day adv dec and applied some m a 's to it. I works well.

BTW, The McClellan Summation (using a specific template) give almost identical signals.

Please let me suggest that some systems really do work, but those that follow them lack the discipline to do just that, to stay with it and follow a system on each and every signal. Fear seems to take over.

Very very true!!! They think they are smarter than the system they created all of a sudden. :-)

But, I do think you are missing an opportunity by not using a-d volume in addition to the issues.

That was a good post, and I would recommend aspiring TA system traders pay more attention to money management.

IMHO, Bill seeks too much certainty in specific trades precisely because he is not comfortable with cutting losses. Yet with long options it is possible to buy contract that if expires worthless is about right as a projected loss, so that that part of money management is taken care of automatically. The other part (when to take profits) is more tricky.
