DISK has a lock on DTS audio CDs and laserdiscs but not for DTS-encoded DVDs. I'm trying to find out what they are trying to do for exclusive DTS contracts.

Here's a company that is also targeting the back-end for web retailing.

globalmediacorp.com

"Expanding on the sales models of such companies as Amazon.Com (Nasdaq: AMZN) and CD NOW (Nasdaq: CDNW), Global Media will use innovative new revenue models such as licensing variations of its front end web site for use by third parties on a revenue sharing basis. By providing turnkey solutions to marketers, Global Media will multiply the use of its back-end secure transaction processing and distribution systems to participate in expanded revenue streams."
