jbe thanks for your open minded and objective post .I don't expect much of it on this issue on these threads. For some reason marijuana seems to bring out the worst in conservatives.Posts like yours bring out the potential for honest and differing views to be discussed.I know that my position on this is shocking to many on these threads.I am perfectly willing to attempt to support this position to any who would engage in unemotional and reasonable debate. I know it is possible that I can be wrong on any subject. It is up to those who believe me so to demonstrate it with honest debate. I would like to point out that I never said that it is fine with me that the President smoke dope or lie under oath.Just that I don't believe that these activities fall under the categories of "high crimes and misdemeanors"

jbe, marijuana smokers get in and cause accidents too, though not as much as alcohol. Why? Because marijuana is illegal! Why would you advocate repealing a law which is working? Obviously marijuana impairs reaction time and impairs judgement.

People on mind-altering substances should not drive.
