Anil: I just wanted to let you know finally I found an online broker closer to home in Madras. I have already contacted my cousin (sister- in-law and her husband via email) to check'em out as they are long time residents of Madras, besides they are also into stocks and investments and such.I'll keep you guys posted as soon as I have more details.

BTW did you read the article about the Y2K etc I posted earlier and if so any thoughts????

With regards to KRN:
1: He was a brilliant student and recognized for his intelligence, though he came from a abysmally disadvantaged background.
2: His brilliance took him to England in those days.
3: His British professor recognized a great future in him.
4: A white man recommending a DALIT (it hurts me to say the word) to a Brahmin, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru.
