I agree, sludges are generally more accurate than the core assays when compared to mined grade. This is a fact observed by gold miners and is hard to correlate from just geological experience. Remember, frorm misapplication of geostatistics and just plain bad mining and grade determination most primary gold mine starts in Canada have failed in the past 18 years.

Time to ask some people who might actually know instead of the people they have been using of late.

Gold needs a lot of drilling and head scratching. The mined grade should be routinely higher than the drill off.
