It seems that funny jokes about Clinton have stopped being very funny- you might say that they're all close but no cigar. In fact, if I had a dollar for every time I saw a Clinton joke with the punch line, close but no cigar. I might be able to pay for a new membership in SI under the screen name"close but no cigar."

Since we seemed doomed to see more close but no cigar. jokes posted, maybe we should have a contest to see if we can get some jokes that have the punch line close but no cigar. that are new and funny. Hmmmm, let me try: Someone went to see the play, Sunset Boulevard, and was asked who played Norma Desmond. Close but no cigar. was the reply.

Guess that one wasn't too funny...Close but no cigar.
