Nihil:

<<Please don't ever make fun of a vendor for recalling an imperfect product. It is the most honorable thing many of them do. >>

I don't make fun. I just respond to these stupid Intelabees who made
a big deal out of the bug on Windows95 on K6-2-350MHz. They think
that everthing Intel makes is perfect, which is completely nonsense.
All I want to do is to give them Intelabees a different perspective.

<<Why do you suppose AMD doesn't recall their buggy K-6-1.99's? >>

I am not sure what you are referring to here. Do you mean the K6-2-350 or something else? If you are referring to the K6-2-350
then all I have to say is that that bug is fixable whereas the Xeon
is not fixable by software.

Dr. Folk,
RE:"Why do you
suppose AMD doesn't recall their buggy K-6-1.99's? "

Now now...since Windows 95 could be classified as a virus I wouldn't characterize the K-6-2 as buggy...
