Yes many philosophers have influenced me. Religion is a philosophy and not vive versa. The paradigm swings to and fro but science is proving the correctness of them. It appears theology is diverting back to Atheism by leaps and bounds due to the hipocracy of theology.

Christianity is fighting for its very existence as more and more are better educated and learn to reason.

I suggest "The Natural Genesis" by Massey as a book to read on the trip to Italy. The paperback is out now for $40.00. It will answer many questions on religious beliefs and origins. It definitely gives a logical explanation of the bible's book of "Revelations." I'm sure it will be as comprehensive as any you will be able to discover. It sure isn't what the preachers describe, yet you have no doubt of which is true at the finish.

I realize most Christians think of me as some kook and it doesn't stop me any more than it did the Apostle Paul, who, as far as I can determine was the only true Christian in the new testament.

Hi, John! Welcome to the Feelings thread. Is there anything you would like to discuss in particular? All subjects are welcome here.

Are you going to Italy on vacation, or business? Do you believe the Shroud of Turin is really Jesus' burial cloth?
