Asked whether the statement issued on Saturday went far enough, Soros told reporters: ''It sounded a little bit empty.'' He declined further comment as he came to the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund. Soros has called for major industrial powers to cooperate more closely in trying to solve the world's financial crisis.>>
