Bucks,

I am more realistic/pessimistic and am ok with the possibility of embarrasing myself on the thread (but I probably wouldn't do it on a national TV show) but I'm thinking we will see
a low of the DJIA somewhere between 6500 and 7000 before we see 9000
again, probably before Feb '99. If this does occur then the NAZ will
drop to 1425-1475 as a low

Do not worry about embarrasing yourself, I too believe we will go lower. BUT, I think we will see a little rally MON/TUES with all the G7 "jaw boning" (they really haven't said anything new) and then as the bad news continues to roll in the selling will return. Not much good going on out there IMHO!

Am thinking about buying a couple hundred of LRCX- did you see the P/S of .35, that's pretty low!

Regards,

MileHigh

Big, you said >I am more realistic/pessimistic and am ok with the

Is your 6500-7000 figure derived from TA, such as looking at
the next resistance level for the DJIA? geocities.com
If so and given your pessimistic outlook I am glad
you stopped there. <G> You won't embarrass yourself
if it doesn't happen because you have credit for some
good calls in the past.

I hope we don't see 9000 again too soon, because if we do
too many stocks will be overvalued again. All I ask is
that my stocks go up.
