It was my daughter that opened my eyes! She couldn't believe I'd vote for Jimmy Carter a 2nd time. She finally got me to understand what Reagan and the Republicans were about and that the old Democrat party that was around when I was growing up was now the Republican party. She actually got me to see how the liberals were destroying our country and our family by their tax and spend social programs! I've voted Republican ever since. It was just too much trouble to go downtown to change my registration! I'm from the South and it's hard to find anyone that admits to being a Democrat around here!!! I hear Linda Smith is going to win!!! I really like her. She's a tough cookie!!!
