I read the entire AETI website, and found no reference to key length anywhere. Did I miss it somewhere? That's an extremely important detail. Using smartcards can restrict the key length you can use depending on how you use them.

The longer the key length, the better, but the strength of the algorithm is of the utmost importance. Blowfish and IDEA are fine.
