Interestingly Alistair Cooke's "Letter from America" on the BBC World Service Radio yesterday was a comparison of Clinton to Hoover. He read some praise of Hoover from John Maynard Keynes from 1919 about how he was contributing to World Peace at Versaille etc. (not sure what his position was then). Then discussed the situation of the US when he first went there as a reporter in 1931 and the scorn Hoover was held in.

Tommaso,

I am rooting for you !

You have been more consistent and level headed than most. Congratulations for sticking with your strategy. I chose cash (and a few REITS lately). Not quite as lucrative as BEARX, but it beats the heck out of being long.

Cheers,
WS
