Arcane, if a company was going to do an IPO do you know how far in advance they would have to register it before the actual sales started?

Though we're not talking about an Initial Public Offering, I believe the rules are the same for a new public offering. Briefly, one needs to file a registration statement and prospectus with the SEC, go through a 20 day cooling off period, issue the final prospectus and then go forward with the underwriting. See: invest-faq.com for more details. Given the problems AZNT seems to have in getting audited financials to the SEC, I would imagine the preparation of the prospectus would be a major hurdle for them.
