I back-tracked and took the fork to the left, the path least traveled,<g> looking up in wonderment at the multi-hued foliage canopying the forest. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught the glimpse of a doe slipping behind the wild gooseberry bushes, purple berries still clinging to the thorny branches. The faintest whisper of her hooves through the fallen leaves, laying in a carpet of reds, yellows, oranges....oranges?..oh, no another vicious, snarling, biting pumpkin with sharp teeth, lying in wait for unsuspecting nature lovers...it's coming for me...
