Best of luck. I actually prefer FLEXF, but deflation bodes well for all ECM's as top tier companies seek to control labor costs.

Hi P, You summarized many people's position quite well. I only started with JBL this last January, so don't have the $72 part of the history in my account. (Whew!) As for my own time with JBL, it's been almost constantly a profitable holding since Jan. It's dipped and I've bought, it's risen and I've trimmed back, but all in all it's profitable so far. Uncle Sam's going to love me if this keeps up!

JBL's showing great strength recently compared to the Large Cap. super stocks of 3 months ago. LU's now having a half price sale on their stock. JBL's at half its former high, but it's already recovered about 40%-50% from its low! That puts us on a better part of the curve.

Newspaper headlines are getting more and more gloomy, so the bottom can't be too far off!

Best regards, Tom

Confusion over JBL NovQ consensus estimate.

On the ECM thread, I quoted 38 cents as consensus for the NovQ from StockSmart. I believe this is the First Call estimate as well. But here is a site that claims the consensus is now 47 cents for the NovQ. Yesterday this site said 48 cents.

stockselector.com

There appears to be some confusion over the consensus for next Q. I wonder if most of the analysts are about to revise earnings estimates to include the HP deal and major new customer contracts; perhaps this is causing the confusing consensus estimates.

As for the AugQ, the consensus is around 34 cents, and we should hear tonight what Jabil has to report.
