But that, after all, is not what elections are mostly about. They look forward. ah yes: I see a President speaking on the phone in the Oval Office. What's this? He's unzipping his pants and motioning to a young female WH employee.....(picture gets hazy, fading out--fade in to a a courtroom presided over by Judge Susan W-W)....I see the President with his hand on a Bible, reciting an oath to tell the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help him God. But look: He was just asked if he had ever been alone with Monica, and he said not, he could not remember a time, except for a minute or so once when she delivered pizza. And look: He was just asked if Monica's affidavit was true when it said that she had not had any extra-marital sexual affair with Clinton, and he said "Absolutely true". My God. The man is an animal. He defiles the Oval Office with despicable behavior, then he defies the oath to tell the truth. So Doug, how does that match the vision you had of him "looking forward"?
