SuperGlitch

Here's an interesting bit of press about Imation's USB drive for the iMac. (thanks to "Reseller" on the Iomega thread for posting the link):

"Is Apple's dream computer going to leave buyers stranded?"

examiner.com

>>> One of the biggest iMac controversies has been the machine's lack of a floppy disk drive. Apple has tried to quiet critics by promoting a third-party device that was engineered specifically for the iMac: the SuperDisk made by Imation. But there are fundamental problems with that drive: It will not easily install programs from floppy disks, and it will not install disk-based programs that are copy protected. Both Apple and Imation are blaming each other for the problem.<<<

While the SuperDisk may not be considered a direct competitor of the SparQ, at this point in time and with so little available in the USB world, the news might just prompt a few customers to hold off and wait for SyQuest's product release.
