This just in from Drudge Report: The NEW YORK TIMES is reporting in Monday editions that Japan's top financial officials told their American counterparts this weekend: their country's banking system is acutely short of capital, with the top 19 banks in deeper trouble than Tokyo has ever before admitted! "Capital supporting those 19 major banks has dwindled to dangerously low levels in recent months," according to the report set to hit the web at Midnight ET... drudgereport.com
