Your BBB is correct, Myron.

I've tried a few such as the Shark-32 pattern from the last TASC:

H2>H1 AND H1>H AND L2<L1 AND L1<L AND (((H+L)/2) <= (H2-0.28*(H2-L2))) AND (((H+L)/2) >= (L2+0.28*(H2-L2)))

Combining that with AVGC5 - AVGC20 and sorting on it gives short and long alerts, but you can't code "buy when price > the H2 of the signal as long as it happens within 25 days" so would have to save the alerts to a watch file and manually note buys.

Some complicated expressions wouldn't work when coded to give values [like the above AVGC5 - AVGC20] but were fine as booleans [AVGC5 > AVGC20].

Since complicated criteria slow the update, I save experimental ones to a text file and paste them back in as needed.

Bob

Myron,

I get over 70 hits with Richards BBB scan using "All Stocks". Wonder why you are getting nothing.

A Scan I have fun picking top stocks ready to break out with is using Henry Brookins scan for pull-backs of stocks. (2 scans) First is getting ready, second are on their way.
First
AVGC9> AVGC21 AND C2 < C3 AND C1 < C2 AND C > C1 AND C > (C3 *.9)
Second One
AVGC5 > AVGC35 AND C3 < C4 AND C2 < C3 AND C1 > C2 AND C1 > (C3 *.9)
AND C > C1

Good luck,
Rob
