I don't think it's a sure thing that all or even most of the registered shares will be sold. That's a taxable event. The purchase was a pooling of interest, so they can hold on to their shares with no tax consequences. The founders of Junglee and PlanetAll want to participate in the company's growth, no?

VC's have a habit of selling regularly, to fund new ventures. That's what they do. They releverage their money. Institutional holders generally make their decisions based on changes in fundamentals, some sell based on price targets (they're the ones out at 60!) not because VC's sell some shares. Institutions are the most-patient holders.

The 3 million Junglee/Plant. shares were registered to sale on Oct 2; and will be for sale
for sure. If the 3 million shares decides to wait a few weeks, then the insiders sale will
start shortly after November 1.

Jan,

What about the vested options convertible on a 1 to 1 basis from Jungalee and Planet All? This is in addition to the 3 million shares. I wish Amazon would have provided a copy of the spread sheet so I could see when they could be exercised. It must have just been an oversight on the part of AMZN to leave that out. I am sure the longs are not worried about the additional 9.6 million shares<G>
