Amazon recently opened a second distribution center (in Delaware). Domestic total distribution capacity is now 285,000 sq.ft. What's that, about nine football fields? William, The touted advantage of Amazon is their business model. Do not pay for inventory until it is sold. No cost of brick and mortar. What do you think a 285,000 sq. ft distribution center in Delaware costs to build or lease? What are they storing there? Certainly not inventory. Glenn
