Hi flickerful,
I am surprisingly disappointed in the G7 IMF conference to address a key issue they could agreed upon. A coordinated move by the G7 and financial center countries to limit and deter compounded leveraged speculation. By using a combination banking regulation and exchange margin requirement changes, and possibly targeted taxation, they could greatly deter currency speculative attacks on emerging market counties. This is the first step in resolving the present financial crisis.
