This is from this "fear" that companies will be cutting down on purchasing netweok equipment, computers, PCs, and even software. I would expect this "fear" took a big chunk out of most of the tech stocks today. In addition, ORCL mentioning the price competition over databases, properly cause some indirect ripples through all software companies.

There is some truth in these concerns, but since most of the smaller software companies are underpriced as it is, this type of discounting that psql and others saw today, is way overdone.

Let's see now, this 18% decline in PSQL brings the PE to less than 17, an interesting PE for a company with such increasing profits. I think I saw at one of the "daily stocks" links that it currently had a PEG ratio of .2 -- which means that if analysts are correct in their prediction this stock is selling at a tremendous discount.
