Holy Cow! He's doing it, and I can't believe it! He is recommending selling CPPKY for $.60! I was truly joking when I suggested recently that he was going to do that. Let me tell you here and now, that this has nothing whatsoever to do with shrewd investment advice. How much would a person who paid $11 for CPPKY get back selling it at that price? He says use the money to buy FFS. What money? Let me tell you what this is about. This is about him getting a lousy stock off his books before the end of the year so that it won't mar his record going into 1999. That's all. Why does he say sell? Because there has been no news from the company since late June when management said that they would repay debt holders in full. And, he presumes that they did, or else we would have heard reports of lawsuits. (Well, if they paid off the debts, that's a positive thing, right? No point selling for that reason.) But then he goes on to say that with Pokphand, news comes to us too slowly. He feels more comfortable with Fletcher Forestry since coommunication lines are open and he's chummy with the CEO Paul Fowler. But what good did all that communication do, since his advice about that stock has also led to ruinous losses? And news from Pokphand has always come slowly; he knew that when he recommended buying it. So that's it? Sell CPPKY for practically nothing, take almost a complete loss on the stock, because the news is slow? Honestly, I find this to be absolutely revolting. I think it is entirely self-serving to him, and not to his subscribers. I, for one, who am stuck owning CPPKY have no intention of selling it for sixty cents, and I strongly urge the rest of you to ignore the advice of this con man about this stock.
