<<You play fast and loose with the facts.>>

And you play fast and loose bashing at AMD and talking rubbish. Maybe you can tell us if Intel uses the Cryotech to get the PII to 804MHz. It AIN'T WATER COOLED!

Perhaps you can enlighten up on Intel latest YIELD CRASH.

news.com

"Despite the shortages, Intel will also be cutting prices on the Xeon. The 400-MHz Xeon processor with 1MB of cache will be reduced from
$2,675 to $1,980, say sources."

"The only thing in short supply may be the chip itself, an issue which has dogged the high-end processor since its late June debut."

Every line I read it says SHORTAGE. Whatever happen to yield on PII NORTH of 170? Bunch of bull. And don't talk rubbish about the HOT DEMAND OF XEON as an excuse.

"When Xeon was first released, most major computer vendors only had a few hundred chips each, less than at a typical Intel launch."

It is in HUNDREDS! And you keep saying that when Intel launches a product they ship HUNDRED OF THOUSANDS AND MILLIONS.
