One of my clients just priced a license from Oracle. The price HAS NOT gone down. They will get a better deal this week though. Their parent company has just signed a big-bucks global agreement with Oracle. We are waiting to see what the terms are. In my past experience, these agreements have involved a large up-front payment to Oracle, with the customer having software licensed/shipped on demand at a discount of up to 50% of list price and charged against the up-front payment. -Michael
