RE IMF sales
Remember, the US has more votes in the IMF than any other member because of our past greater inflow of funds. With the IMF under the
microscope in Congress, if they sold gold, they never would see another cent, and congress would vote to have them disbanded.
Just tell your Congress person! The IMF has been castrated!

E.
it seems logical that Germany would back IMF selling gold. After the IMF has gone broke, the euro will look all the more "safe" as a currency. It makes perfect sense to me.

word picture:

I want your girl friend. You are trying to impress her by jumping off a 200' waterfall(you don't know how deep the water is but your "friends" tell you it is safe). As you stand on the summit having second thoughts, you hear me scream from the bottom..."JUMP!"

Will the IMF jump like Canada & Australia did?
