DWDM followers, you probably already know Lucent is selling 80 channel DWDM's to AT&T. ------ Murray Hill, New Jersey, Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Lucent Technologies Inc. last month shipped equipment that boosts capacity on phone networks by 80-fold to AT&T Corp. and another customer on schedule, Lucent Chief Executive Richard McGinn said. AT&T spokesman Dave Johnson said his company is testing the equipment and plans to install it throughout its network next year. ------ Anyone know if this was a metro application ?
