Sam,

There's a tribe here, some of the earliest inhabitants of the islands, that believes that the universe is a single living organism, which is their God; they of course are part of God.

Always wondered why they call these religions "primitive".

Sam, I don't defend parochial schools. I simply point out faults in logic when I see them. Catholic schools have been an excellent source of education for millions of Americans. Far above the average of government schools. This doesn't equate with saying Christians create a society of ignorance. If Christians wanted ignorance spread they would not be educating their children so wonderfully. I don't even think it's debatable.

The only time I have defended Christians is when I see hypocrisy in others not allowing their opinions to be heard. I would do the same if deists were being forced into silence by other non-tolerant individuals.
