About E-trade;Im quite happy with their quick execution time but they seem to have problems with time zones.I put a bid in for PLM on Alberta and was told i didnt get a fill even though it closed below my bid price.I couldn*t get a confirmation of a fill until the next afternoon even though it showed up in my buying power.SCARY!

From what i know, there isn't such a cumbersome approval process in the U.S. Cdn markets work much different than those south of the border. Protecting us, yeah right. I've signed up with Swift Trade right here in Toronto. My course starts in January, and i'll begin trading U.S securities shortly after the course. I'll be able to enter my trades right into the market with no 'interference' what-so-ever. Can't wait. chris.
