I believe they'll take the Nasdaq down to 1500 before it's over. That's my guess. In January, will anyone remember all this, I hope not.

Are you saying that when you "short against the box" that you actually have money in your account to be used for investing.

Is that also true for just plain shorting ? My broker requires 25% margin money in the account for just plain shorting.

Also for online trading, there is no box you can check for "short against the box". Do have to tell your broker manually ??
