Don, my wife and I(and Jr.) stopped in Stoney Creek Dairy earlier tonight for an after supper ice cream. Since it was relatively warm (for fall) tonight and we hadn't stopped in since summertime it was a bit of a treat. Anyhow, they are now stocking a small sample of Ben and Jerry's Branded Ice Cream in their small retail cooler just inside the dairy bar. I checked the packaging to verify that is was being imported. The packages were 500ml and they were carrying about 7 or 8 flavours. Including "Chunk Monkey" -i.e. Banana Flavoured Ice cream with chocolate and walnuts. I also saw Cherry Garcia, New York Fudge Chunks(???), and a few other flavours. The packages were made of cardboard and definitely had appealing graphics and design.
Also in the same freezer was the weight watchers brand with similar nice packaging design.

That's all for now. I'll try and post more frequently as we get closer to plant startup. I'll also keep an eye in the local papers for any local stories on the plant startup i.e ribbon cutting and so on...
