There is a strong Y2K effect going on out there without the media screwing it up into unbelievability.

I have sent an online letter to one of the leading newspapers in Germany, 'die Welt' about the concerns with Y2k. This is the answer return from the editors by email:

'Dear Mr Mansfield,

our computer specialists will take the year2000-problem seriously because
they do their job in a very professional way. If somebody like to discuss
this problem publically, it's possible in our Leserforum.
