any perspectives on the Junk financing market (public and Rule 144a high yield offerings, PIK preferred stock, and convertibles)??? I have an interview with Oppenheimer at 2:30 central, today.. so any fodder will help..

Being an aerospace nut, I try to stay close to the industry. Farnborough was an order-taking disaster this year. The industry is quietly talking about a 50% reduction in deliveries (civil transport) over the next two years,.....yuk.

The big guys have successfully dropped some of the risk down on the heads of their suppliers through a variety of methods (details if anyone is interested), but they will still hurt badly before this cycle ends.
