ASL: In at 7/8...using Datek which doesn't do NYSE/AME stop loss orders....have mental stop at 3/8...I'll wait and see, but should be ok overnight hold, don't you think? Thanks.

Added ESV @ 10 1/16 on the close with funds selling again last 20 min. Will exit GLM if 10 doesn't hold. Will be holding ESV. XON strong again today. Crude down. Didn't do rebuy of MER calls, needed stock to print @ 41 5/8, but MER still made a nice bounce from 41 7/8 on second selloff. Good Trading Dave PS: I know that I am hard headed at times, but not looking to book losses based on the fundies. Shoulda, woulda, coulda got to be a better trader. Hard hat getting dinged alot.

Hi Mark, David Plonk, over on the Kahuna thread, likes gold as well. Here's an excerpt from a note that he posted today: " Gold and gold mining stocks are definitely in a bull market now, and should be added to portfolios as long term holdings. The Dollar has already fallen 10% in the last month, and should deteriorate further as our government prints money to bail out other governments, banks around the world, hedge funds around the world, corporations who can't pay their debts because they spent all their money buying back their overpriced stock...etc.,etc. ad nauseum. As long at the XAU stays above that lower channel line (currently at 71.8), and gold above its lower channel line (currently at 294.3), goldbugs stand no chance of getting squashed. " Regards, Jan
