Kerry,

It appears as if Ancor was INRANGE's connection to Fibre Channel, and Crossroads was their connection to SCSI. Do you have any idea how big this mainframe type connectivity could be? This is an area that I had pretty much written off to the McData's of the world. We have been focusing primarily on the non-mainframe market. I have absolutely zero knowledge about how things are done in relation to mainframes. I guess it is logical that they would need Fibre Channel connections too, but how does a company like INRANGE just pop up out of nowhere?

On a related note, I think Ancor should partner with Veritas. They are quickly emerging as the SAN software leader, and with today's purchase of Seagate's Software unit, they will enhance their position within the industry.
