Time-Warner owns HBO. They bought a piece of GI last Winter. HBO is closer to cable than broadcast. Just another cable build-out in the US. We haven't seen Divicom get a win here, yet.

I would be curious to know what you or other threadsters think are the market comparisons between CD-RW and DVD. I think I am more inclined towards CDE-RW then I am to DVD. The various "zones" required with DVD really puts me off.>>

Country codes are added to movies through incryption. DVD-RAM, DVD-RW don't add it to the disc, they just look for it on DVD-ROM discs.
