how low can one go; ignore if one doesn't want to read it;
csco came down in part also because of downgrade which the reasons are similar to what had been posted; we're talking about investment here and personal insults are not for SI.

The FTC investigation may have something to do with Cisco tanking but it seems unlikely that it is all of the problem.
The Cowen and company downgrade from strong buy to buy on a stock that was already down may not bode well. He kept his buy on the stock while saying that Europe may be slowing and also made the point that enterprise spending may be slowing. Also Cisco is currently accused of trying to keep Lucent out of the data transmission market.
Seems possible that they may fear Lucent and may be correct to fear Lucent if not because of unit growth problems then because competition could bring down margins.

Could the Cisco dominance paradigm be changing with big competitors like Nortel and Lucent getting involved? Do you guys think that Cisco can keep it up in the face of all this? Lets figure this one out.
